The summer market experienced a brief pullback starting Memorial Day weekend, with buyer hesitancy lasting approximately a week and a half. However, the market quickly recovered and finished the summer with strong sales numbers, showing resilience and continued buyer demand in Trumbull.

Interest rates have decreased to approximately 6.5% for a 30-year fixed mortgage. While rates continue to be a primary topic of discussion, it's worth noting the historical perspective.

Remember that in 2019, we saw rates as high as 5.75%. If rates continue to decline, homeowners will have the opportunity to refinance.
