Here is your mid-November year-to-date look at the Trumbull real estate market. As of November 19th, there have been 306 homes sold in town. During the same time frame last year, there were 296 sales, showing a modest but meaningful increase in activity.
The current median sales price is $660,000, and on average, homes are selling for about 4% above the asking price. While this doesn’t mean every property sells over list, it’s an important reference point for buyers entering negotiations and for sellers as they consider their pricing strategy.
For sellers, pricing too aggressively can sometimes backfire and discourage motivated buyers who would have otherwise come to see the home. Thoughtful positioning is key to attracting strong offers.
